The Trinidad & Tobago Heart Foundation is a non-governmental, non-profit organization, run entirely on its own fund-raising efforts and the donations of its generous Corporate Sponsors. There are many ways a sponsor can support the work of the Foundation, a few of these are outlined below:

NEWSLETTER - “Live Healthier, Live Longer!”

First published in October 2005, this quarterly newsletter is distributed by post and email to approximately 4,000 persons contained within the TTHF database membership. Members include participants and visitors of the annual Heartbeat Marathon and South Fun Walk events, as well as other interest groups, media and members of the medical fraternity.

Each issue covers matters related to heart and general health, preventative measures, treatments and healthy life-style guidelines.

LOGO SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM

With so many food product options, it’s hard for consumers to spot healthy choices quickly. That’s why the Trinidad & Tobago Heart Foundation (TTHF) has conceptualized this program, to take some of the guesswork out of eating healthy. The TTHF Sponsorship Logo Program will allow consumers to easily identify healthy products, by simply looking for the “Proud Sponsor” logo.

The TTHF Sponsorship Program gives eligible products the right to use the TTHF logo for a period of twelve (12) months, usually on the  product’s packaging.

HEART MONTH - JUNE

Each year we celebrate June as Heart Month, with month long activities in-stores, at health facilities and in the media, culminating in the popular annual Heartbeat Walk/Run & Health Fair.

Originally known as the Flora Heartbeat Marathon, the event is now multi-sponsored and includes both the race itself and an a health fair on the grounds of the Queens Park Savannah.

The event regularly attracts 3,000 plus participants and supporters and is a viable communication vehicle for all eligible brands.

The South Fun Walk, Heartbeat’s sister event, is another annual favourite, attracting 200 plus participants and supporters.
