With great sadness, we say goodbye to TTHF Director Farouk Khan Hosein who passed away on Saturday 16th September 2017 at about 7 pm at his home peacefully. Farouk, for many years, has been the face and voice of the TTHF and has driven us, more than any other person, to fulfill our mandate to the general public and was instrumental in organizing and executing many of our programmes. His loss will be profoundly felt by our organization and leaves a great void which can never be filled.
Farouk lived his life with purpose and meaning, he devoted his time endlessly to HeartBeat International of Trinidad and Tobago and the Trinidad and Tobago Heart Foundation to help thousands of people in one way or another, live a better, healthier life. And to all those who had the joy of knowing him for the giving person he was, he will live on in each of us, forever in our hearts.
